excellent access to ironbridge's parks and attractions for weekend strolls

I really appreciated how close this place is to the Ironbridge Gorge Museums, allowing for easy and delightful strolls through the iconic area, and the charming riverside walks were a true highlight of my stay.

Charming stay with exquisite breakfast

Woke up to the enticing aroma of fresh coffee brewing. My cozy coach house room, with its historical charm, provided a warm retreat after exploring nearby Ironbridge. James was incredibly attentive, ensuring the breakfast was both delicious and beautifully presented, making it the highlight of my stay.

The shower room was quite small, and I found myself ducking to avoid hitting my head due to the low ceilings. Plus, the parking situation was a bit tricky, as some guests parked inconsiderately. Don't forget to bring your own mug for your tea or coffee—the tiny cups could be a challenge for tea lovers like me.

The cooked breakfast stood out—fresh, hot, and made with quality ingredients, fueling the day ahead. The guest lounge offered a comfortable space filled with character and useful info about nearby attractions.

The rooms, especially in the coach house, felt a bit unheated and cramped, with the main house's mattresses being hard and pillows less than comfortable. The staircase leading to our room could really use a clean, and there were a few rough brick steps from the car park, which made hauling luggage a challenge.

This place is a gem! Perfectly positioned for exploring the Iron Gorge Heritage Museums, we loved the stunning views and convenient walks along the old railway track by the river. The breakfast was outstanding, with fresh fruit and a selection of cooked dishes. Parking was hassle-free, and the hosts were super friendly, ensuring everything was just right.

One downside was that our room had some noises from the pipes in the bathroom, which was a bit distracting at times.

Just a balanced option for a passing visit in Ironbridge with exceptional value. The room was spacious with a huge king size bed. Consider bringing your own hand towels in case they run low.
